Love your adorable images and really partial to the scripture sets!! I fell in love with this one "Let It Rain" for three reasons: the sweet little girl with the umbrella, the scripture verse and the short stanza of the hymn "There shall be showers of blessing" (which we sing so often in our church and I fully trust and believe)....saw this one and new instantly it would be the first set I wanted to work with...so here we go!
for this card, I softly colored the little girl and umbrella with prismacolor pencils and OMS. I was tickled how the CB folder matched the raindrops!! and really like purple/green color combo
This one is colored with Copics and I paper pieced her umbrella! was in the mood for blue (thinking about blue skies that I would love to soon see) ...isn't she enjoying the soft Spring rain....I am so ready for that too!!! anything but snow!!! LOL
Thoroughly love this set! Could spend my whole time this month creating cards with it!!!...but I won't ***wink....hope you liked these!
Have a blessed day
and thank you so much for the warm welcome....

Payne Holler Cards
She's absolutely beautiful and I love how you did both cards. I hadn't thought of fading her behind the Bible verse but I love the effect. I also love the shape of the Nesties you used on the second card and she's a perfect fit for it!
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad you are with us this month!
So lovely, Linda! Welcome, we are thrilled to have you this month!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an absolutely awesome idea to stamp the sentiment over the colored image and replicating the rain with the embossed card stock (the angle).... Both of your cards are totally awesome! So very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Linda!!! Beautiful cards dear girl. Just love them!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Digi DT time! I know we will enjoy seeing all your lovely creations.
