A Merry Little Christmas

I have a cute Christmas card to show you today which could pretty easily be reproduced. This would also make a nice generic winter card as well if you change the sentiment. I used the emboss resist technique for the background behind my snowman. The "snow" is torn paper strips edges with snow glitter and stickles. The snowman from the Welcome Jesus set was colored with copics, cut out and adhered with foam tape between the snow layers. This image is also available in digi form called Smiley Snowman which would be great to use if you still have more Christmas cards to finish.

I just love this cute little snowman- don't you?

Have a fabulous day!!

Welcome Baby Jesus

Good Friday morning everyone. Since it's Christmas time I couldn't resist using this precious snowman stamp. The set is called 'Welcome Jesus'. Isn't he adorable? I just had to add him to my snowman collection. I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop Saturday Challenge SSS85. You will have to stop by this weekend and play along.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Welcome Jesus
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Bashful Blue
Paper: Bashful Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Georgia Pacific White, Dream Street Wonderland designer paper.
Accessories: Copic Markers, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Stampin Dimensionals, Spring Rain Satin Ribbon

Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Blessings,

Deb

Smiley Snowman

Happy Hump Day!

Well, it's Wednesday and Korin is hosting the sketch challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.
As you can see by my card, it is a really easy sketch to follow. So why not grab your favorite Sweet 'n Sassy image and surprise Korin by playing along  with us this week.

My card uses the Clear Stamp Set called Welcome Jesus, which includes the words, but the snowman by itself comes as a Digi called Smiley Snowman. I love how you have the best of both worlds with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

I started my card with Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses DP and matched it up with Close to my Heart Cardstock.
I embossed the blue panel with a cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.

I printed the image three times, colored it with Copic Markers, cut them out and layered for a 3D affect.
I coated him with Liquid Glass from CTMH and then chunky Diamond Dust for added sparkle.

The Hand stitching was done with matching Embroidery Floss.

Have a Blessed Day!
Nancy

Warm Wishes

Hello and Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. We sure had a beautiful one here in PA but I know winter will be here before we know it!

For today's card I used the adorable snowman from the Welcome Jesus set. I just love this snowman!! He is also available as a digi, Smiley Snowman. I used the Warm Wishes sentiment from the Waddle I do? set, thought maybe this could be used for a Winter Birthday card??! I paper pieced his scarf to match my card.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a great week!!
