~ Cup of Cocoa ~

Cup of Cocoa is one of the sweetest Cocoa images.  I really can't decide which Cocoa is my favorite of all but Korin is so brilliant and keeps coming up with new ones.  The more she draws the more Cocoa images I need! This Cocoa image is coming out in stamp form and you can preorder him HERE!

I used him to make the hot cocoa packet above but I also wanted to show that he's cute used on a coffee belly band.  The ideas of things to use him on are endless.  Cute card sets, bookmarks, magnets, you name it!  I always enjoy seeing what other projects people are making!

This is my last post as the October guest designer.  It's been nice being back with SNS and using their wonderful digis and stamps.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks A Latte!

Happy Saturday to you!

With the cooler weather I'm enjoying flavored coffee.  I've never really been into the flavored creamers but Coffee Mate has one out called Peppermint Mocha that we decided to try and it's now a favorite.  I have to also admit that I've had a gift card to Starbucks for awhile too and just used it.  They have a Pumpkin Spice Latte that is so yummy and creamy that it tastes like pumpkin pie!  With cool weather and warm coffee on the brain I decided to use Cocoa's Latte for my card above!  I think this is one of my favorite Cocoa's!

Mental Note:  Did you know....
that it's just 40 days until Thanksgiving and 70 days until Christmas?

With Christmas in mind, here's one more card using Christmas Bear.  This bear is so cute and I added stripes to the hat!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Pumpkin Cocoa

Have you seen the new digis that were just released the other day? I think that this release is especially fabulous! I love Cocoa and the pumpkin image is one of my new favorites. So the card I have to show you today uses it and the layout is the sweet stop sketch for the week.

This is image is so fun to color! I used my copics to do so. I thought I would share the colors I used with you. I also used vintage photo distress ink to sponge around my colored image so the white did not look so stark with my papers.

Pumpkin- YR21, YR12, YR14, YR18, E33 (body of pumpkin)/ E42, E44 (stem)/ YG93, G99 (leaf)

Cocoa- E30, E31, E33, E35, E37/ R0000, R00, R02 (nose and ears)
Shadow under pumpkin- W00, W01, W03

Here is a closer look for you:

Thanks for stopping in today. Check back tomorrow for some more awesome inspiration from another one of our designers.

Have a blessed day!

A Little Cocoa?

My title is "A Little Cocoa?" but I wasn't talking about hot cocoa although our weather has been perfect for it.  Instead I'm talking about the cute little mouse Cocoa.  I love to see all the little things he's hiding behind, what a big adventurer he is!

Hopefully you had a chance to see the variety of NEW digis released yesterday.  There's something for everyone!

Cocoa Cards

I made a set of Cocoa cards for a gift set and I'm showing you a few of the cards today.  Cocoa is always peeking out of or from behind everything.  As cute as he is, I just thought these would be a great set of cards for a dear friend.  She loves to create and can't get her creative juices flowing.  She's a simple stamper so I felt these were easy enough that they would help her get to stamping again.

There's so many wonderful digi stamps in the Sweet 'n Sassy store that I hope you'll stop by and find something cute to be creative with!

I've wanted to try an easel card and saw a really cute one using our SNS Rainy Day Teddy on our own, Janette Olen's blog.  You need to check it out ---> HERE  I love being inspired by our DT!

Have a wonderful day.
