New Design Team Members

Today we'd like to introduce you to 2 wonderful ladies who have recently joined our design team. They started October 1 and really should have been introduced to you sooner, but with the Heirloom Stamp Show taking up so much of our time as of late, we just never got to it.

So, without further adieu please welcome Janice Melton and Deb Vandersteeg to the Design Divas Team :). I think you will agree that each of them are very talented and they will be wonderful assets to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Hello! My name is Janice Melton (catcrazy on SCS). I am currently a stay at home Mom. I live in south central Pennsylvania with my wonderful husband Roger, our 2 teenage sons (13 & 17), 11 cats and 1 dog. I started out scrapbooking about 8 years ago but got side-tracked when I discovered card making about 3 years ago! I enjoy doing card challenges and learning new techniques.

I have loved Jesus since I can remember and am so blessed to be married to my best friend for twenty-nine years who supports me and knows that I need to create to live. Our home is in beautiful, Western Michigan and have three grown children.

I am an artist at heart and have been creative all of my life. I attended college where I studied Fine Arts and through the years have taught classes in basket making and rubber stamping. My work is currently being sold in a gallery not far form where I live. This past July I redesigned my blog, Little Works of Art and I also have a gallery on Splitcoast Stampers.

My passion for rubber stamping started twelve years ago when I was invited to a stamping party. I was hooked. It has been so fun to see my style and ability change over the years. I just found the first card I ever made and I remember being so proud of it, now I look at it and just smile. Well, I guess we all have to start somewhere.

One of the things I love about Sweet’ N Sassy Stamp images is how they lend themselves to many different mediums. One of my favorite techniques is coloring with Copic markers but colored pencil, paper piecing or watercolor would work wonderfully as well.

I want to thank Korin for this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to sharing my creations and getting to know you.

Please join me in welcoming Janice and Deb to the design team :). We are so happy to have them both with us!
