Precious Baby!

Hi there,

This is Silvia, I'm one of your guest designers for the month of June! I'm super excited to be here. I LOVE the images at Sweet N' Sassy digi's but have you seen the NEW photopolymer stamps...they are awesome! Go check them out if you haven't already! But mt card uses a digi image called Precious Baby and what a bargain it is for just $3.50. Imagine just how many times you'll be able to use this image, for boy or girl it's the perfect image! For the scallops all the way around I simply embossed a sheet of cardstock and then punched it out with my 1/2 inch circle punch and adhered it all around.

This card was my very first time using my new copics (I told hubby I NEED more)...I have a total of 8, so not many to choose from, but they matched and so I was able to color this image with them...well copics and watercolor pencils and blender pens. So you could say that this is a mixed media project! I love the trim, I got it at a local trim and beading store and then I used some pretty gingham ribbon to add a extra to it...plus I wanted to hide a spot that I couldn't add another circle...so there you have it...perfectly covered up! LOL

Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Baby By Sween N Sassy
Paper: cameo coral, pink pirouette, certainly celery, White by PTI
Ink: Lazer printer
Accessories: gingham ribbon, lace, water color pencils, blender pens, copic ,markers
I hope you like my card...it's an honor to be here as a guest designer, and i hope you come back and see what else I have created to share with you!
Hugs and happy stampin',
Silvia

Live, Love, eat chocolate!

It's Erika Martin again.....hard to believe this month as a guest designer went by so fast! But....I'll be back for a couple more sneak peeks from the new clear stamps that Sweet n' Sassy is debuting!

Even though I'm a pretty healthy girl and do lots of walking and exercise, chocolate is my luxury item. While I don't eat it as proficiently as I used to, I love using it as a reward for myself. Hey, after all, chocolate comes from a bean, so it's vegetarian and healthy for you, right? *wink*

The images from the Chocoholic set are right up my alley (and in my tummy, too). I chose the cupcake to work with and printed out two of them to color in with Copic markers. I added some glitter to the heart sprinkles on top for some pop. I trimmed them out with precision tip scissors.
I chose teal cardstock for my card base and pink cardstock to layer on top. I used some patterned paper for layers and punched out the "XOXO" image from the paper (because I LOVE chocolate, in case you hadn't already figured that out). The sentiment comes from the Chocoholic Sentiments set.

Now I'm hungry for chocolate. I think I need to treat myself. And if it weren't for the fact that I already have someone picked out for this card to go to, I'd send it to myself! haha!

Purrfect Friend in pink and brown

Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to be one of the Guest Designers this month for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Today I'll be showing the first card I've made using some of the digital stamps that S'nS offers.

One of the sets that I chose for my guest designer stint is Purrfect Friend because I'm a cat lover and I also have a lot of friends that are cat lovers, as well. I'm going to get a ton of use out of this set. I already have the person picked out that this card is going to be sent to. One of my best friends that lives overseas in Belgium. We may have an ocean separating us, but that doesn't keep our friendship from growing. She can't have a cat where she lives, but she absolutely adores them, so this card will be the next best thing to having a cat to cuddle and it will also show her just how much she means to me.

I printed out my digi stamps and then used my Copic markers to color the kitty in. I never used to be a pink lover, but I've always liked shades of brown. Over the last couple of years, I've really come to like this color combo together. And this kitty looks so cute in pink and brown.

I used a scalloped circle punch to punch out a bunch of circles in caramel cardstock and snipped them in half to layer them behind the kitty to make a scalloped border. I used pop-dots to give it some height on my card. Some patterned paper and a little bit of pink and brown grosgrain ribbon finished my card off.

I'm looking forward to showing you my next creations next Saturday when I post again!
