Customer Spotlight Sunday & February's Guest Designers!

Today we have another beautiful card to share with you from one of our customers, Neva McMullen!  Be sure to stop by her blog ---> HERE!  She made this card using the Sweet 'n Sassy Heart Princess digi and she's been colored beautifully!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
February's Guest Designers
Lisa Jurecek will be with us this month and will be posting for us on Saturdays!
 I'm a wife and mother of three grown sons. I teach junior high history in a small town in South Texas. I'm currently working on a Master's in Library Science (I'm going to be a librarian). But when I'm not busy with school work, you can find me up in the Craft Loft playing with paper! I've been using digi stamps for about two years now and I just love them. Give me a cute digital image, my copic markers, and some great papers and I'm in the happy zone! So I'm absolutely thrilled to be serving as a guest designer for SNS using some awesome images I just can't wait to show you!
  ********************************************
Dana White will also be with us this month and posting on Tuesdays!
We moved back to Calgary AB in 2008 (third time a charm?!) from Toronto ON where my cousin introduced me in 2004 to the world of scrapbooking. I went to my first Stamping party in the spring of 2005 & I wasn’t going to get into stamping – well I fell hard! Through stamping I have met some amazing friends and was sad to leave Toronto and them!
Since being back in Calgary I have met some amazing stampers and because we bought a bigger house I now have an entire room devoted to my addiction (according to my hubby!) and I try to spend time in my room everyday.
I am just starting in the world of digi stamps and was thrilled when I was asked to be a guest stamper this month for Sweet ‘n Sassy Digis.
the icing on the cake...
Happy Saturday everyone. I have really enjoyed my month as a guest designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Digis. Sadly this is my last post but I have one more card to show you. This one uses this weeks new release Cupcake Cocoa. Isn't he so sweet? My girls are just crazy about all the Sweet 'n Sassy images and I suspect this card will be snatched up first thing in the morning to be used for my youngest daughter's BFF's birthday party.
Nothing fancy here just fun. I colored Cocoa with my copic markers and layered him on some pink card stock and some gorgeous Basic Grey Bittersweet designer paper. I added a touch of gloss to Cocoa's nose and the hearts on his cupcake.
Blessings,
Kate & Lizzy and Friend
Yesterday Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps released new digital stamps and I so wished I had more time to color all of the new digital stamps up to share with you today. However, for today I was able to finish two cards - yeah me :-).
When I first saw Kate & Lizzy I knew immediately that I had to add them to my digi stamp collection. They remind me of Emma and Gracy. I'm sure that it's no surprise that I would pick these Sisters to feature here today :-).
For once I actually picked the DP, cardstock, flowers first and then colored the image. I even put the card together first which was (for once) super easy since I followed Korin's sketch. Korin is the guest host at SCS Sketch Challenge, filling in for Cindy Coutts.
I used papers from the Magnolia line from My Minds Eye and colored Kate & Lizzy with Copics. The flower petals are left over and came from my scrap bin as did the ribbon. (I'm so excited that I'm actually using up these left overs.) I kind of had to use the flower petals to hide a die-cutting mistake which left me wondering where to put the sentiment. I know I could have put it on the inside, but thought it added a nice touch right on top of the petals. Something a little different than your button or brad, don't you think?
My next card features the cutest, sweetest little mouse. It's Cupcake Cocoa.
And guess what, for this card I followed the sketch from The Sweet Stop! I'm on a roll, lol!!!
Nothing fancy, just copics for coloring Cocoa and the cupcake, left over striped DP from my previous project and some red polka dot paper from DCWV. The flowers are from Prisma.
If you haven't visited Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps to see all the new releases, make sure you stop by..... you'll be glad you did.
Puppy Love and a Special Delivery
Good morning Sweet 'n Sassy stampers!! I hope you have had a fantastic week. I hope you have been checking in here at the Digi Blog each day so you aren't missing out on any of the DT's posts. These ladies are so talented, and I just love seeing what everybody creates with the Sweet 'n Sassy Digis!!
Today, there are several new images being released!! Since Korin prices her digital stamps at such an incredible price, you can easily pick up each and every new release and still stay within your budget!
I chose to work with two of the new images for today. The first is called Puppy Love. What an adorable little puppy! This cutie comes with two different sentiments, one of which I used here, as well as two small bonus images (a bone and pawprints). I used the little bone from the set to make the background paper that the puppy is mounted on. I distressed all the edges, and antiqued them with Distress Inks. The puppy was coloured with Copic markers. I hand cut the large bone and antiqued that as well. Finally, the puppy was pop-dotted for dimension.
The second image I worked with is Birdie Delivery. I am totally in love with this cute image!! So, I decided that I needed a whole parade of them!! lol Now, I'm not usually successful with a "clean and simple" kind of look, but I thought I'd give it a go. It usually takes me forever to put a card together, so I was quite pleased that this one came together in about twenty minutes (not including the colouring time). As always, I coloured with my handy dandy Copics! I also had this metal embellishment kicking around in my stash...how perfect!! Gotta love it when that happens!
Now, I had coloured the bundles different colours, since the expectant parents might not know whether their little baby is a boy or a girl...but I suppose if you knew a couple expecting quadruplets, then this card could be perfect for them!! lol
All right stampers! Time to head on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy Store to purchase your digis!
Have a blessed day friends!
Melanie
Getting well prepared for Christmas 2010!
I thought for my post today I'd ink up this cutie that was released in December - I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas - if you haven't heard the song, you're missing out!   (Click here to hear it and have a laugh!)  It was my New Year's crafty resolution to make a Christmas card or two every month, so this un's for my 2010 stash!  No making cards till midnight all of December for me this year! LOL!
I coloured my hippo with copic markers and added some red nail varnish to her tootsies ... well every girl likes to look her best!  Her bow is also popped up on dimensionals.
Don't forget that Thursday is Digi Day at Sweet'n Sassy Stamps.  There's no less than FIVE fabulous new release sets for you designed by Korin and Leah - be sure and pop by the Digi blog tomorrow to see what Melanie's made for you!
It's a Hoppy Day.....
.... but a sad one, too. Today is my last posting here as a Guest DT member, so that makes me a bit sad. But the happiness I have felt in this month of sharing with you here at Sweet 'N Sassy and being surrounded by some of the most kind & generous people completely outweighs that sadness! :)
So I will share this card with you using the newly released Fenton the Frog. He really does make me smile! We have a fondness for frogs in our family. I am always reminded of the acronym F.R.O.G. - Fully Rely On God.
The papers are full of glitter, as are this little guy's spots, all shining with God's radiance!
So I will say 'until we meet again'.... for with Him,
there are no goodbyes!
sweet 'n sassy saturday...
Happy Saturday everyone. My little princess is having her 7th birthday on Tuesday and I made this card for her. I used everything she loves! Lots of Pink and glitter and bling. Because what little princess doesn't love some sparkle! The image is Heart Princess from this weeks new release! I colored her with Prismacolor pencils, blended with odorless mineral spirits and a blending stump to match this Basic Grey Lemonade paper. I added a touch of rose ribbon, some sticky bling and lots of stickles.
Someday.....
Good Friday morning Digi Stampers!
Yesterday was digi day at Papercraft Planet and let me tell you, I had fun. I was a little nervous at first, but everyone on the DT came to my rescue when I needed it. We had fun and the cards.... wow.... you ladies amaze me.
It was so much fun to showcase cards featuring yesterday's newly released digital stamps. You did stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy store to check out the latest releases, right? If you haven't yet, better go, no scratch that, better run to the store to check out "Fenton, the Frog" or "Heart Princess". Oh, and the sentiments..... love sentiments because I'm never clever enough to come up with a sentiment on my own.
I had so much fun with Leah's "Heart Princess" and Korin's "Fenton, the Frog" and actually created a seperate card with each image, but had so much fun yesterday that I promptly shared both cards at our Digi Day at Sweet 'n Sassy's PCP group. So I created this card last night:
Not only did I use "Fenton, the Frog", the beautiful "Heart Princess", I also used the reeds from "Flying By". All are colored with copics and cut out using a craft knife. I almost always will take a dark gray marker and go around the cut edges of the image. That helps to blend the edges in, especially if it's thicker card stock. I'm not sure if the papers work but decided to just 'go with it' and used designer paper from My Mind's Eye, Wild Asparagus line.
I used foam pop dots to add a little dimension. Here's a close up.
I used a sentiment from "Princess Seeks Frog" set, which I layered onto some DP scraps and adhered to the inside of the card:
Not too bad of a card considering that I really should have been in bed instead of at the craft table. But then again, with these awesome digital stamps, there is no such thing as a bad card.... because these digi stamps are just too cute~!
Make sure to stop by every day for new inspiration from the rest of the Design Team and don't forget to swing by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. :-)
Someday My Prince Will Come
Good morning stampers!! I hope you have all had a fantastic week!
I love Thursdays at Sweet 'n Sassy, as they always mark the release of new digital stamps!! Korin has so many fantastic images, and the prices are incredible!! You are sure to find something to tickle your fancy! So please stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy store to check out all the great stamps!! Hey, while you are here why not sign up as a Follower? That way, you will not miss out on any of the great things happening here at Sweet 'n Sassy!
My card today features the two new images "Heart Princess" and "Fenton the Frog". Now, how perfect are these two for a "princess and the frog" theme?? Korin has also released three sentiment sets today. I used one sentiment from the "Princess Seeks Frog" set. (The other two sets are "A True Friend" and "Love Sentiments 1".)
I printed my images out onto Neenah cardstock and coloured them with Copic markers. The trim on the dress was "blinged" up (I love how we can just make up words to suit our fancy!!) with Frosted Lace Stickles, and Fenton received a generous coat of Glossy Accents.
It's a little difficult to see, but I sponged in a sky using a make-up sponge and a cloud template.
Now, we have some extra fun for you all today!! You can hop on over to Paper Craft Planet for Sweet 'n Sassy's Digi Day!! Join in for a challenge, chatting and PRIZES!!! Yup, free digis my friends!! You will find all the details on the Sweet 'n Sassy group at PCP. I'm hoping to hop on for a bit after work, and I'm looking forward to connecting with all of you!
Have a blessed day friends!
Kissy Kissy Fishy Fishy
I love this week's new release set "Pucker Up" which was drawn by Leah, and its just perfect for my Valentine's card for my other half who has an aquarium full of fishies!  I just cut out the fish bowl and then popped up the fish on dimensionals.  I added some orange stickles to the little hearts and purple stickles to the plant for some bling.  The little heart (an oldie from my stash) on the brown BG was stamped with versamark ink and the fish bowl coloured with copic markers (though I had a near disaster when my blue marker ran out just as I started colouring..grrr!)
Pop back tomorrow to see the next digi releases ... they'll will be perfect for your Valentine's cards if you don't have a fish-lovin hubby!
And tomorrow is also the Digi Day on PCP - click HERE to go to the Sweet'n Sassy page ... see you there for some fun!
It's Always Time for Hearts and Kisses! :)
Hello everyone! So how are you today? Did any of you have yesterday off? Did you get to spend some fun time with your friends and family? My guys all went bowling while I got to stay home and craft! Happiness for everyone! :) grins!
I have 2 cards to share with you today.
My first card uses hearts from the digi set 'All My Heart', which was released the first week of Jan. I made the hearts 2 different sizes prior to printing. Thr dark lines were outlined with a spica glitter pen for some extra sparkle. The papers are from the Basic Grey Sugared Collection. Added some neat May Arts leaf ribbon and dew drops along with a Prima flower.
The second card uses the newly released digi set 'Blowing Kisses'. This teddy makes me smile! :) I used some fun papers from Basic Grey Two Scoops for this one. The hearts are painted with shimmerz.
I am having so much fun here at Sweet 'N Sassy! Everyone is just so kind! Have a glorious day!
A Couple of Oldies But Goodies!
Happy Monday! We hope you had a terrific weekend! Our sweet Nicole is taking a much-needed break today, so Sandy and I have a couple of cards to share with you. We thought it would be fun to showcase a couple of our "oldies but goodies" today -- digis that maybe you didn't know we carry, but are some of our all-time favorites.
This sweet little ladybug is a SNSS digi called, A Flower For You! I think it's adorable and makes the best kids' birthday cards, thinking of you, and friend-type cards! Korin has created a digi set of sentiments just for the ladybug called Ladybug Sentiments.
This elegant wedding cake and coordinating greeting are part of the Wedding Day digi set. The set also includes a lovely bell image, as well as several other wonderful sentiments. It is perfect for wedding and anniversary cards.
Did you know that there are currently 90 different digis/digi sets available at the SNSS store? We show you many samples throughout the week with the newly released digis, but we have many more in our store that we don't want you to forget about. Be sure to stop in and browse the DIGI area of the store. Maybe you'll find something you need! :-)
Blessings and Hugs,
Sandy & Deedee
Pucker Up!
Happy Saturday all. I am so excited to share with you what I made with the adorable new Sweet 'n Sassy digi Pucker Up. This bowl full of fish is so fun to color. I used my Copic markers and colored the image to match some Basic Grey Lime Rickey designer paper. I then added some black layers and a touch of curry polka dotted ribbon and that is it because I was shooting for a clean and fairly simple design. I know it is impossible to see in this picture but I used my Sakura glaze pen to add some gloss to the hearts.
Blowing You Kisses
Happy Friday Morning!
I had all the intention of sharing not just one but two cards with you today, however I ruined one of the cards last night. I wasn't feeling all that good and should have stopped while I was ahead, but I didn't. Sigh!
Blowing Kisses which was released yesterday is such a great digi stamp set and Deedee's Teddy Bear is so much fun to color even when one isn't feeling all that good. Actually, at first I wasn't very happy with the card but that cute teddy bear makes any card look good.
Teddy is colored using copics and die cut with Nestabilities Curved Rectangles. I started out just using dew drops but decided to add the heart die cuts. Honestly, I still wasn't happy but sometimes one just has to walk away from a project, right?
I decided to add the sentiment which is part of this digi stamp set to the inside of the card along with a die cut heart.
Did you get a chance to stop by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps yesterday? If you haven't yet, head over there to check out all the digis. Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what Debi Southard created. I can't wait :-).
Of All The Fishies In The Sea...
Good morning!! Today, I have two cards featuring the brand new Digis for today: "Pucker Up" and "Blowing Kisses"! These are available now over at the Sweet 'n Sassy Store!!
First up, is this cute little fish bowl is illustrated by Leah Cornelis...what a super sweet image! I played around a bit with "Pucker Up" and decided to make a window card. I cut around the fish bowl to use it as a template for my acetate window. I made sure to place the fish and the gravel so that they would show through the window exactly as seen on the original image.
Now, before you take a peek at the inside, I need to ask you to tilt your head a little to the left...more....more...ok, that should do it!! Why?? Well, I noticed after everything was stuck down, that it's all a little off-kilter. :( Now normally, I can tease layers off with some thread...however, I had just run out of my usual adhesive. Since this card was going to be quite thick and heavy, I decided to use my Glossy Accents to adhere everything...very permanently. These papers were NOT budging. So, please humour me and just "pretend" that everything is straight, ok?? lol ( a very wise friend once told me that things being a little crooked is just proof that something is handmade with love...after all, nobody is perfect right?? hee hee)
So, for the inside of my card, I cut a square of Neenah cardstock, and drew in a bit more gravel to fit this square. I coloured in the water and the plants with Copic markers. The fish were also coloured with Copic markers, coated with Stardust Stickles and pop dotted for dimension. I found this great package of coloured glass beads at my local dollar store, and used them for the little pebbles at the bottom of the fish bowl! Finally, I used some more of those great heart rhinestones (also from the dollar store) as the heart bubbles that Leah drew in this image.
"Blowing Kisses" was drawn by Deedee Anderson. This is such a sweet little bear! For the fur, I used layers of feather strokes done with Copic markers. I opted for a shaped card this time and used my Nesties Labels 8 for the cardbase and DP layers. Since I had cut the teddy bear out, I needed to draw in the "kisses" that Teddy is blowing. I also used Frosted Lace Stickles on these "kisses". The sentiment is part of the "Blowing Kisses" set.
I hope you all have a wonderful day! Make sure to head on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy store to pick up this week's digis!
God bless,
Melanie
All My Heart
Hi Stampers!  Hope you are all back into your stampin routine after the holidays, its taken me a while to get out of Christmas mode!  Last week's digi release was just perfect to start your Valentine's cards (and trust me, you won't want to miss tomorrow's release either! ;D)
I kept my card very clean and simple and just let the beautiful heart from All My Heart take the central focus, I'm not sure even if I'm going to add a greeting!  My papers are from Papermania and the heart coloured with copic marker to match the pale blue birdie.  I used a quickie glue pen to go over the swirls on the heart and sprinkled on some clear glitter so it really sparkles IRL.
Don't forget that Thursday is Digi Release Day - check back then to see what Melanie has made for you with the new releases!
Sweet 'N Sassy Love
Hello! I hope that you are having a truly glorious day! I am showing cards that use the digis that were released this past week. They are just the cutest images and such fun to play with! :)
In both cards that I have made, I paired the digis with Basic Grey papers, one of my fave paper lines. The first card is made with 'A Note For You'. The papers are Basic Grey Junebug. I painted the envelope's heart with shimmerz to add a big of shine. I added a few buttons and used a fun Fiskars punch along the border. Some neat polka dot ribbon finished off the card.
The second card uses Basic Grey Nook and Pantry papers. The hearts are actually printed in 2 different sizes - one of the neat things about digital images. The centers of the flowers on the hearts have been highlighted with frosted stickles. I kept the card design simple here to focus on the fun hearts and sentiment.
I look forward to seeing you next week! May your day be overflowing with blessings! Jennifer
Cocoa's Heart is for YOU!!
Happy MONDAY!  Was your weekend as eventful as mine?  I had to let my son head back for his second semester of college on Saturday.  MAN, talk about being a WRECK!  I don't know what my problem was, but I was worse that morning when he left than when he first left for college in August!  So, I took the rest of Saturday to just rest up and pray a lot.  I trust that the Lord is watching over him, but I guess it is just hard still since I am no longer there to even just talk to him everyday.  Anyhoo!  I am all better now and had some crafty time and conjured up this card for your viewing pleasure!
Cocoa's Be Mine IMAGE HERE is paired up with this sentiment from another digi set called ALL MY  HEART.  I think it is perfect for this Cocoa image, don't you?  SO SWEET!  I used this weeks sketch SSS38 from THE SWEET STOP sketch blog.  This is a great sketch!  EASY yet challenging at the same time, is that even possible?  HAHA!  Make sure you check out these and the rest of the awesome stamp images from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps STORE HERE; the prices are phenomenal and the quality is spot-on!  AND if you get some of your own crafty time this week, play along with us at THE SWEET STOP, you could just be picked as next month's guest designer! ~ Nicole
Have a great week!
a note for you...
Happy Saturday everyone. I hope you all are staying warm in your little corner of the world. I know I am freezin' here in Central New York where all it has done is snow every single day. I am not much of an outdoor winter person and my favorite thing to do in the winter is hang out in my pajamas, pop a movie in the dvd player and color with my markers or colored pencils. That is what I plan on doing today, so why don't you join me and maybe this adorable little koala bear will inspire you. Isn't he the cutest? My oldest daughter claimed him just as soon as I finished photographing him and she is begging me to print her up a couple for her to play with. He is from this weeks newest release "A Note for You". I colored him using my Copic markers and I added a touch of gloss with a Sakura glaze pen to nose and the heart on his envelope.
A Cuddly Koala and a Heart
Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about you, but I had a lot of fun yesterday at Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Day over on SNR. Everybody created such wonderful cards and more than once I was awestruck at the beautiful creations. Sweet 'n Sassy released 2 new images yesterday; A Note For You and All My Heart and I couldn't wait to play with them.
This cute koala bear was so much fun to color. I have to sheepishly admit that I immediately grabbed the brown copics, only to wonder what color koala bears really are. Regardless, I thought he turned out ok. I used Spellbinders Flor De Lis die and layered the image right on top. I also had an extra Nestabilities label 4 handy which became the 4th layer. To add a little contrast, I added a square dark brown card stock layer to the bottom of the colored image stack and adhered it to the card. The papers on the card base are from The Paper Studio. I added the small red rhinestones in the white space in each corner.
I tend to make cards without a sentiment, depending on the image I choose. That way I can add an appropriate sentiment as I need a card. For this card I added the "koala you my friend" sentiment on the inside of the card.
My second card features one of the hearts from All My Heart:
I used my Quickutz flourish die to add the black flourish which helped to hide another one of my famous "oops" :-) and because I thought it matched the flourishes in the heart. The heart is colored with copics and I used the Heart Embossing Folder from Cuttlebug to emboss the white card stock. Clean and simple.... and quick. This card is a 5x5, but I'm thinking of recreating this as a 3x3 to use as a gift tag and having my oldest granddaughter, Emma help me.
You have got to make sure and stop by the Sweet 'n Sassy store!! The January Release Bundle is now available and you can get the whole release for only $40. Oh, that violin and that cute, cute snowman, and.... Better go check it out, you won't be sorry!
Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what Debi Southard, one of our January Guest Designers has created. I know it will be awe inspiring.
Valentine's Fun...and a Digi Day!!
Good morning Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Stampers!! Thursdays are always an exciting day here, as they mark the release of new Digital Stamps!! Today of course, is no exception. There are two fantastic images available for purchase: A Note For You and All My Heart!! Now is the time to start making those Valentine's Day cards!
We also have some extra fun this week for you!! It's SWEET 'N SASSY DIGI DAY over on SNR!! You know what that means, right?? A challenge, prizes and some great conversation! You don't want to miss out on this, trust me! For playing along with the challenge, you will earn yourself the digital stamp "Sweet as Hunny". Can we sweeten the pot?? There will also be an early bird image available to those who are prompt in finishing their challenge project...and this is a yet to be released image, called Blowing Kisses Teddy!! Head on over to our group there for the details!
So, on to my card for this week! As I mentioned earlier, the new digis for today are "A Note for You" and "All My Heart". I decided to combine both releases in one project. While both the images have accompanying sentiments, the ones used on both the front and the inside of this card are from "Valentine's Sentiments".
The front of my card features one image from "All My Heart" (there is also another heart in this set!). I just love the pretty flowers and wings on this image. As always, I coloured the digital image with Copic markers. The wings were given a coat of Stardust Stickles, and I adhered little rhinestones in the centre of each flower.
Ok confession time!! I rarely remember to decorate the inside of my cards, however I wanted to include this adorable koala bear on my project! This Digi Stamp is called "A Note for You". He too was coloured with Copic markers. The little heart gems I used on this card were a bargain find at my local dollar store!!
Ok...time to pick up some new images at the Sweet 'n Sassy Store, and then head over to SNR for the Digi Day fun! I know some of the other DT members will have some projects to get you inspired! I'll be popping by there later (after work!), to say hello. Hope to "see" you all there!
Have a wonderful day!
God Bless!
Melanie
It's Jennifer here, posting for my first time as Guest Designer for the month! How exciting is THIS!?!? :) Boy howdy, I was shouting from the rafters when Sandy invited me to join all of y'all over here! what a privilige to play along with so many wonderful people! Thank you for the opportunity! I am truly humbled to be a part of something that honors God in such a fun, creative way!
I have a thing for little mousie images, irl - not so much! giggles! but this guy, Be Mine Cocoa, stole my heart. he painted it pink, of course!, added some shimmerz, again of course!, and put it in an envie JUST FOR YOU! He had to add a few little buttons and trim to make it pretty for you, and of course it wouldn't be the same without some Basic Grey papers - this time from the Lemonade collection. A whimsical little crocheted flower finishes it off, 'cause we know our mousie friends love all things soft. :) I hope it brings a wee little smile to your face on this glorious day! You just never know how God will choose to speak to you today - it could be something as simple as a little creature stopping by your window.
Be sure to join the Sweet 'N Sassy crew this Thursday over at SNR for Digi Day! These days always bring such fun and neat challenges! two, count them, two new digi sets will be released, so you for sure don't want to miss that!
See you then! Jennifer
Lynne's Love Birds!
Hi Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Stampers!
I'm delighted to be kicking off 2010 by joining my first ever DT!  For my first post I'm using the recently released Love Birds - I've used it on a wedding card, but it would be perfect for Valentine's too.
I coloured my love birds with copic markers and then highlighted the detail in their tails with a clear glitter pen.  The 'finished' version of this card ended up with a pink ribbon where the blue dew drops are - I managed to put a dirty big inky thumbprint right under my sentiment and had to do a major rescue attempt!  Don't you hate it when that happens!
Scroll down to see what the rest of the DT made with this image and keep your eyes peeled for not one, but TWO super cute digi sets being released on Thursday!
Cocoa has the right idea!
It is the first Monday of the year! WOOHOO!! Are you looking forward to what this year is going to bring you?  I am so eager to have 2010 come into my life full force!  Last year was NOT "my year", to say the least {due to some minor medical issues that went sour and worsened}, so seeing 2010 on my calendar gives me such a refreshing feeling!
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it has been for me to be associated with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and the wonderful women that come along with it!  These gals are just so sincerely supportive; and not just with my creative efforts, but with personal ones, too!  So, please allow me to THANK Korin, Sandy and ALL of the wonderful SNSS designers for being who they are!  Their prayers and caring emails are such a blessing to me and I just wanted to let them know!
OH! MY CARD!! HA!  Yes, Cocoa (which you can find HERE!) certainly is smart!  Look at him all snuggly between those mittens!  Yesterday when I woke up it was 5 degrees!  YES, FIVE!  NOT much fun to look at when you have a big new dog that needs to be walked quite often!  So, this digi came to mind right away when thinking about my card for today!  I hope you all STAY WARM today and I wish you all the best in 2010!  May God bless you and make this the best year EVAH for you AND yours! ~ Nicole
Happy New Year!
