Our Refuge

I love the scripture sets that Sweet 'n Sassy provides as they can make for pretty powerful cards. I used the newly released set, Our Refuge, for my card today. I kept my card clean and simple so to show off the scripture. Add some design paper (DCWV the Cafe Mediterranean), a little bling and a bow done with the bow easy and you have an uplifting card ready to send.

Thanks for stopping by and
remember He is your refuge,

Snow Special

Hello! Today's card uses the newly released Snow Special set. I just Love snowmen!! This one is alot of fun to color.

I cut out my snowman and popped him up on a panel that I had softly sponged in matching colors. I embossed and than sanded my background DP, it made the snowflakes really pop. I like the distressed feel it gave too. Then I added some more texture by adding some flowersoft to his ear muffs! I love the soft girly feel of this card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Sparkly Snowman

I decided to play along with a couple of the challenges on Splitcoast with my card. The technique challenge was to use stickles to paint your image and the color challenge was to use the colors red, white, and grey/silver. So, I combined the two and came up with the super sparkly, super cute snowman. This adorable image was just released and is called Snow Special. The strip at the bottom was stamped using the brand new snowflake background stamp.

Here is a close up of all the sparkle

There is a terrific sale going on right now in the Sweet N Sassy store. You will want to check it out if you have not already.

Thanks for visiting today!

Timid Timothy's Debut

This is my first post as a Guest Designer for SNSS! YAY!

I just LOVE this adorable mousie: Timid Timothy

I used the color combo for the CAS99 challenge over on SCS.

I colored Timothy with Copics. And used some crystal effects on the flowers.

Be sure and visit the Sweet 'n Sassy Shop to see all the new releases!

Birds & Roses

The weather has been unseasonably warm here the last couple of days so I have a lovely spring card to share with you today :). This image was illustrated by a sweet Mennonite lady, Rachel Zimmerman, who has an amazing knack for capturing the beauty of God's creation. I am so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to share her talent with the stamping world :).

You can find this lovely image in a new stamp set called Birds & Roses which has just been released at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. It also includes many encouraging sentiments to go with this beautiful image.

Can't you just hear these beautiful blue birds singing praises to God? :)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Many blessings to you,
~Korin

I hope you have survived the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Now, it is time to get back into the swing of things- for me at least :). Today I would like to show you a super sweet baby card for our customer spotlight Sunday. This adorable card was created by Candace Mitchell. I love the stitching, the papers she chose for her card and how the baby buggy digi was paper pieced. This cute image is also part of our Little One stamp set. Thank you so much Candace for sharing your card with us today!

Don't forget to check out the awesome new stamp sets that were released yesterday in the Sweet N Sassy store if you have not already- you won't want to miss them!

I Love You SNOW Much!

Hi there! It's a new year and a new day and this is my first post as a new Guest Designer here at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! I am so excited to join this awesome group of ladies for the month of January!

Today, I am sharing a card I made for my hubby using the new Snow Special stamp set. I was going for a more masculine feel for this one, so I chose this great snowflake paper by Jillibean Soup and paired it up with red and brown. Kraft is so popular right now and these colors are perfect for this snowman and my hubby.

My snowman is colored with Copics, cut out and popped up using pop dots. I cut my 'snowflake' using the Spellbinders Lotus pendant and the heart is a die by My Favorite Things. A couple of pearls and a bit of Distress Stickles added to the snowman's coat trim and the centers of the snowflakes on the background paper and it's done! The sentiment is one of the four you get with this adorable set!

Check out the Sweet 'n Sassy store for all of the new sets...and have a Happy New Year!
