Lots of Poppies

I've had a lot of fun playing around with this Poppy and Greetings set. I made a set of cards that are different but use the same 2 pieces of pattern paper, 2 solid color card stock and the same embellies and border punch. All the images were colored with Prismacolor pencils. Isn't it neat how out of the same basic supplies you can achive a varitey of looks? Did you know that this fabulous set is available as clear stamps and as a digi ?! So there's no excuse not to go pick one up for yourself! I'm sure you'll love this set as much as I do:) Thanks for coming by today, have a blessed day.

Customer Spotlight Sunday

This week I am super excited to share this beautiful card created by Nancy Kirk. This was a card she created for a Clean and Simple challenge on Splitcoaststampers and I happen to think that this card is a winner! What a great design Nancy! I love the way the text overlaps the large fern image and the butterfly is darling!

Both the butterfly and sentiment are from one of the newly released stamp sets, Everyday Miracles, which also includes a second butterfly image and more sentiments for only $11.00!

Thank you for sharing your card with us Nancy!!

God Made you Special...

And he loves you very much! That's what I always think when I start reading the sentiment on this stamp set...but I have small children and we watch Veggie Tales often... Sorry about that, hope I didn't get any songs stuck in anyones heads! LOL

Anywho, I digress, I think these little birds are the sweetest birds alive...errr digi's...you know what I mean! LOL I used my coluzzle to cut the circle around the birds and when I could go no further I used my paper snips...I like the end effects, those birds look too cute! I think they know the sentiment is true, or maybe they have the Veggie Tales theme song stuck in their heads too!
I added a bit of glitter to the leaves after I watercolored them using my watercolor pencils and blender pens and I sponged 2 different colors around the circle, I think it looks pretty neat! Did some paper piercing and added a gem to dot my eye and called it a day! What do you think?
Supplies:
Ink: craft turquoise, craft green galore
Paper: Kraft, white, Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey
Accessories: twill, staples, watercolor pencils, blender pens, paper piercing tool, sponge, gem, glitter
Thanks for stoppin' by!
Have a blessed day,
Silvia

Cute and elegant

Hi there everyone, it's Janette here! Ok, I am super late posting this which is not like me. I just was making my daily visit to the blog and realized that uh oh...it was my day to post. I am so mixed up this week and did not even realize that it was Friday. Oh well, I hope that it is better late than never. Today, I would like to show you a couple cards featuring stamp sets that were released June 1st. Now, keep in mind that both of the sets I used today are available as clear stamps or as digi sets so you can choose whichever suits you better. I have a cute card and an elegant one to share with you. And now without further ado, I present to you my elegant card...

I love variety and that is exactly what you get with Sweet N Sassy stamps. Sometimes I like to color a cute image and sometimes a more elegant one and then are times when I don't want to color and I just want to stamp. I think that there is so much to pick from and can satisfy whatever crafting mood you are in. This card uses one of the butterfly images from Everyday Miracles along with one of the sentiments. I did color it with copics, cut it out and adhered with foam tape, and added stickles for sparkle. The flowers were white and I sponged them with ink and also added stickles. All the edges were sponged with ink before sewing.

And now for a cutie...

How super adorable is this puppy??? I love this set!! It is called Woof You. I created my own bg paper by stamping with the bone stamp repeating on my paper. I colored the image with warm grey copics and paper pieced the bandana around his neck. I also used my copic marker to add shading to that as well. I used my Janome sew mini to sew around all the edges.

closer view for you

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope that you have a wonderful weekend.

a True Friend...

We've got a bit of a chill in upstate New York this week, which is surprising for this time of year. My neighbor's poppies are drooping a little, but I just love the splashes of red that borders her fence. My card uses the new CLEAR STAMP set called "Poppies & Greetings" which was recently released. What I love about this stamp set is how crisp the images stamp, and the delightful little greetings that come with it. They are a perfect size to stamp in small spaces on your card. The set includes 2 images and 9 sentiments, and measures approximately 4 x 4 inches. This is a MUST have set, in my eyes!

Here's hoping the rest of your week is filled with God's Grace.
Hugs, Darsie

Berry Sweet Tuesday

Hi Everyone!

I'm Peggy and I am "Berry" excited to be here as one of the guest design team members for June! When I first looked at the large selection of digi's at Sweet and Sassy I fell TOTALLY in love with Cocoa. So it was only fitting that I use Berry Sweet Cocoa for my first DT card!
I love Copics and these images are perfect for coloring!

Have a wonderful week!
Enjoy!
